Singing for Creative Health is a way of leading choirs that places wellbeing, connection and resilience at the heart of the musical experience. Drawing on health research and creative practice, it supports people to be fully themselves, build meaningful relationships and contribute back to their communities through singing.

Why Singing. Why Health. Why Now.
Singing is not a luxury.
It’s a social, cultural and health resource.
SfCH uses collective singing as a practical, efficient and affordable way to:
- Support mental health and wellbeing
- Build resilience
- Reduce isolation
- Grow creative, connected communities
- Have fun and enjoy
Our theory of change:
When people SfCH together regularly,
they regulate their nervous systems, build trust and belonging,
strengthen resilience, mental health and wellbeing
and return social capital back into their community.

This work sits at the intersection of creative practice, public health and community development.
That’s why it can:
- Sit in health settings – Live in communities – Be adopted by other choirs
- Be commissioned – mentored – and scaled without being diluted
It sits in the sweet spot between health research and creative practice.
